The ease of maintenance is significant to me, having a health issue which challenges my strength to do the tedious work required with having a perm, natural, or pressed style. This was my first experience with interlocking. I have been wearing wigs for the past 2yrs because I was unable to find someone that I really trust to help me with my hair issues. I initially found out about interlock styles online after being stood up by another hair stylist, named Mimi who claimed to do tree braids with human hair under $200.00. I called Interlock Styles and I was able to get in that next day. Bea was really concerned with the fact that I had to be at work on Monday. I got my hair braided using the Jeri Hair. I love this style. I work, go to school, and I am 8 months pregnant needless to say I don't have a lot of time to get my hair done on a weekly basis. I had my hair in for approximately 7 weeks, which is definitely worth the $190 I paid. The convenience of being able to wake up shower and go and not worry about what to do with your hair is priceless. The maintenance is very low. I have gotten my hair done a second time and I got the same style. It only takes approximately 4 hours, I have gotten a similar style using a sew-in technique and it took about 6 hours. I love this technique and I love this style.

Saturday, Feb.27,2010 was my second trip to Interlock Styles and I can officially say I am HOOKED! I had always been a micro-braid fan until now. No more sitting in the chair for 8-10 hours, no more glue. Interlocks are the best kept secret, but not for long, when word spreads about Beatrice and her salon, every woman will be out to get hooked up. I have relaxed hair and just wanted to give my hair and scalp a break from chemicals and the micro's and that is when I decided to try interlocks. After my first trip to Beatrice I was in love with them. But the true test for me was when I took them down. Unlike with the micro's, once I took the interlocks out, I did not have the scalp irritation that I had experienced in the past. Beatrice was wonderful, she is an expert at what she does and she actually cares about your hair. Interlock Styles will explain to you how to care for your particular hair type. Beatrice was also able to offer me skin care advice that is working well for me. This time around I am sporting the Romance curl and lovin it! Thanks Beatrice!

I visited Interlock Styles for the first time 2 days ago, and I am in love! Between my coworkers, random pedestrians, and cashiers, I am out of Interlock styles business cards! The hair supplied by Interlock Styles is so soft and bouncy, I can't believe it is synthetic. I can't believe I relaxed my beautiful natural hair out of frustration, when I could have gotten a gorgeous Interlock style instead :-)

I was taught to testify while I have a chance! So I am back with another testimonial about Interlock Styles! I have been a client for a number of years but for the last year and a half, I have consistently worn Interlocks. I guess it is just like true love...the longer you are in it (wearing them) the more you love them! Not to mention that with proper care of your Interlock hairstyle (suggested maintenance and your ole faithful satin cap and/or pillow case); I have recently experienced my French Deep Curl lasting 8 weeks! We are not going to talk about the new growth (about 3-4 inches) but trust me...only my hair dresser knows! When I shake and fluff...to you...it looks just like new! I love Interlock Styles!!!!! Interlock Styles grew my hair amazingly fast. I have always had thick and long hair but through the years from relaxer after relaxer I began to experience thinning and breakage. After one year of wearing the Interlock Style my hair grew to the middle of my back and was healthy and strong. I absolutely love the convienence of no curling or rolling. Satin cap then shake and go. You will love it too!!!!!

I absolutely love my hair. I have been able to work out with no drama. And I love the fact that my hair is practically maintenance free. And for the very little maintenance that is required, you gave a free maintenance kit that had absolutely everything in it that I needed. What more can a girl ask for?
I was definitely apprehensive at first because I have never worn a weave before and I didn't want my hair to look fake. It looks very real and I love the fact that my hair is protected while I grow my relaxer out.

I just want to thank you Beatrice and Shawn for the wonderful service I was given today. I was very nervous to say the least but Beatrice reassured me and made me feel comfortable. In the past year I've been to several salons and received poor service. So therefore I really didn't have faith in any beautician until I met Beatrice and Shawn they restored my faith. Shawn did a wonderful job on my hair even my husband said he liked my hair he said this is the best in years. So for him to say that meant you guys are fantastic!!! I am a newby to "Interlock Styles". Since 2006, I decided to grow out my relaxer and go natural. So instead of chopping off all my hair, I found myself sitting in a salon chair for 10 hours to get "microbraids". I didn't know until after a few months later that the microbraids was thinning my hair on the sides. I was trying to find an alternative to microbraids and cornrows and came upon "Interlock Styles" last year. Beatrice is my hair stylist, and I am truly impressed with her experience and knowledge of hair maintenance and styles. I also was impressed on how she runs her business. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the fact that she is Customer Service Focused, knowledgeable about hair products and hair maintenance, in which I have not seen much of this from visiting other hair salons. I was so delighted with my hair, I got so many compliments, I decided to keep coming back. I like the fact that I can workout, shower, shake my hair, and I am out the door! I love this low maintenance style and hair. I am now starting to see my hair that was thinning on the sides, grow back. I definitely recommend anyone to try Interlock Styles out. You too will be impressed with your hair and the professionalism after your first visit!

I walked into Interlock Styles and asked for something to "get me through" a few workouts. 10 years later (this month) I am still a monthly client! I was shocked at how easy my hair was to maintain and quickly became "addicted!" I saved over 30 mins each morning because I no longer needed curling irons. As a weekly business traveler, it also meant I no longer needed to pack 3 irons of different sizes either. My life is made simpler because of Interlock Styles! I love you Bea! WHAT A PHENOMENAL FIRST-TIME EXPERIENCE!! FINALLY, a stylist who is not only professional, but Beatrice KNOWS HER STUFF! I trust her completely.
She makes you feel at ease, is attentive to your lifestyle and styling needs, and caters to the overall health of your hair. I enjoyed NOT having to sit in a salon where I'm waiting to be shampooed for two hours and then waiting to be styled another two hours and have to repeat this every one or two weeks. With the interlock style, I am able to work out, glam it up or be casual without having to sacrifice hours of my time. Best of all, I LOOK FABULOUS! I have received so many wonderful complements on my new look - everyone wants to know who my stylist is!

I used to fly from Houston to Chicago to get my hair done at Interlock Styles. They are very good and fast. They prefer to use the synthetic hair they provide, but will use hair you bring in. Most of the styles lasts for 6 to 8 weeks. The most I paid was $240 for everything, and I got one of their more expensive styles. My stylist was Shawn, the number at the shop is 773-487.8696. Give them a try, I think you will be very happy.
