Great! You've booked your first appointment with us. Here's what you need to know before you arrive .
Before Your Appointment
Hair should be shampooed and ready to be braided before your first appointment with us. If your hair is natural make sure it can be combed and parted easily.
Since your hair will be braided for 4-8 weeks, it's a great idea to get a deep conditioning or an hot oil treatment before receiving your style.
Be prepared to sit 2-4 hours. The average amount of time needed to complete the style is 3 hours.
Cancellation Policy
We work by appointment only. Your time is very important to us so we do not double book appointments. If you find you are unable to keep your appointment, please give 24-48 hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. There will be a $25 fee applied to your next appointment if adequate notice is not given. Also, no discounts or coupons my be used at that time.
If you arrive over 30 minutes late for your appointment, your hair is not clean, or it is not ready to be braided, you may be asked to reschedule to a later date. Arriving more than 30 minutes late, or arriving when your hair is not properly prepared be braided can be considered cancelling without adequate notice.
If you book an appointment and fail to arrive or call for the appointment, that is considered a "no call, no show". Interlock Styles will gladly book an additional appointment for you, however a $50 fee will be applied to your appointment and the entire amount must be pre-paid before reserving the appointment for you.
During Your Appointment
Since you will be with us for a while, complimentary snacks and beverages are provided. To keep you entertained there is always good music or an interesting movie playing in our salon.
No need to bring a book to read because you assist the stylist by passing sections of the hair to her.
Before starting to braid, we'll give you a scalp massage to apply moisture to your hair and to promote circulation. The massage is relaxing and assists in healthy hair growth.
