At Interlock Styles, we have specialized in Interlocking since 1997 .

True interlocking is adding loose hair additions a little at a time while braiding the hair in cornrows. Interlocking is also know as Tree Braids Many stylists claim they can perform an interlock/ tree braid style but most of the time it's not interlocking.

Styles and trends can change but, what has remained constant is the need for women to have a style that is attractive and convenient. Managing natural or relaxed hair can be time consuming and costly. Either requires daily styling and weekly/biweekly appointments at the salon. That can be very damaging to your hair.The most important thing at Interlock Styles is the health of your hair. We will never perform a service that can be damaging to your hair.

Relaxers are not as popular as they used to be, as a result many women are looking for a safe transition out of them. Interlocking is perfect because it provides you with a professional look while keeping your hair protected. Your hair can still be shampooed and conditioned while braided.You don't have to get rid of your relaxer altogether either. Some clients use interlock braids to reduce the number of chemical treatments from every 6-8 weeks to every12-16 weeks instead.
